NGSS 101

  • If you are new to teaching science or desire deeper understanding of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), this workshop is for you. Participants will be provided with two full days of NGSS learning by exploring the three-dimensions, experiencing phenomena-based instructional shifts, and a deep examination of their grade-level standards and how they fit into the scope and sequence of K-12 Science. NGSS will provide a new ambitious approach to science teaching that moves the focus from students learning about to students figuring out.
