WorkAbility 1 is a California school and community transition program working to benefit secondary special education students.
Working with teachers, parents, and businesses, students are provided opportunities to transition to employment and independent living through curriculum and hands-on experiences in:
- Career exploration
- Job search and retention
- Interpersonal skills
- Connections to community resources
- Paid work experience
- Preparing for post-secondary training
